Dr. Maria Claudia Alvarado
Dr. Maria Claudia Alvarado is caring, passionated about dentistry and dedicated to delivering high-quality care while ensuring every patient feels heard, valued, and well taken care of. She takes the time to listen, understand each patient's concerns and provide thoughtful, personalized care in a comfortable and supportive environment. Dr. Alvarado has put a great deal of thought and effort into creating a peaceful, comfortable environment for patients. From soothing music to the beautiful views of nature in each room, every detail is designed to help patients feel relaxed and at ease while they are in the office.
She completed her postgraduate training in Advance General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut. She was invited by UConn to become a Clinical Instructor for the General Dentistry department. Previously Dr. Alvarado trained in Esthetic Dentistry at New York University. Dr. Alvarado earned her degree in dental surgery from Cayetano Heredia University. She actively continues her education in practicing safe dentistry, learning advanced techniques and stays current with the latest innovations in dentistry.
Dr. Alvarado is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. Currently Dr. Alvarado is a faculty at Nova Southern University teaching dental school students and Volunteers at UF as a faculty in her time of.
Dr. Alvarado enjoys to travel back to Peru to visit family and friends, time out on the beach, and outdoors with her husbands and two dogs, Taco and Nova.
